Join us for two special Q&A events celebrating Shari Lewis & Lamb Chop. On Sunday, August 31 starting at 9:45AM, enjoy a breakfast buffet and a post-screening virtual Q&A with Mallory Lewis from Portugal, where she will share her experience carrying on her mother’s legacy, reveal intimate details from her past, and discuss how she plans to continue Shari Lewis’s work.

Then, on Thursday, September 4 at 3:30PM, stay for a post-screening Zoom Q&A with director Lisa D’Apolito from New York, who will provide insight into her creative process, why she chose to make this film, and behind-the-scenes stories from its production. Both events offer a unique opportunity to hear firsthand about the artistry, legacy, and magic behind Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop.


Mallory Lewis, Emmy–Winning Puppeteer

Following the passing of her mother, Shari Lewis, in 1998, Mallory Lewis stepped into the spotlight with America’s favorite sock puppet, Lamb Chop. Together they’ve entertained audiences at thousands of venues worldwide, from state fairs and performing arts centers to cruise ships and military bases. Today, Mallory and Lamb Chop are social media sensations, with over 500,000 followers and viral videos reaching millions.

Their work has earned multiple Emmy Awards, the UNAMA Award for Excellence, and the Kid’s First Palmer Vision Award. An accomplished author of 20 children’s books, Mallory has also helped raise nearly $2 million for breast cancer research through women’s world record skydiving events. After more than 25 years together, Mallory and Lamb Chop still bring music, comedy, and sing-alongs to audiences of all ages, keeping Shari’s magic alive for a new generation.


Lisa D’Apolito, Film’s Director & Producer

Lisa D’Apolito is an Emmy nominated producer and director. Lisa’s film documentary, LOVE, GILDA was nominated for 2 creative Emmy’s. Lisa started as an actress in film, theater and television including a part in Goodfellas

She went on to producing and directing in advertising Lisa was named one of Variety’s 10 Documentarians to Watch in 2018 and SHOOT Magazines New Directors Showcase 2019. 

Lisa is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Italy.  Lisa recently completed Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop  which is being released theatrically and then streaming and Albert’s Pyun- King of Cult Movies which premiered at Comic Con.  She is currently in production with a documentary about singer/songwriter Laura Nyro.
